Jejak Langkasuka Exhibition by Zulkifli Hamzah in Damansara


MTFA organised a special viewing of the Jejak Langkasuka Exhibition by Zulkifli Hamzah at the Oasis Village, Damansara. The exhibition is in conjunction with the launch of Zulkifli’s book Jejak Langkasuka (ancient trails of Langkasuka). Zulkifli a renowned local architect has been researching and collecting materials on the lost civilisation of Langkasuka for more than a decade.

The ancient Langkasuka empire was a great Malay civilisation observed circa the 2nd to 15th century. The empire covered areas in the southern regions of Thailand and the Malay peninsula of Malaysia.

This month long exhibition and book publication are fully sponsored by the Brunsfield Foundation.

Special guests for the viewing were Thailand Ambassador H.E. Damrong Kraikruan and his lovely spouse. Also in attendance were MTFA President Dato’ Latt Shariman Abdullah, Brunsfield Foundation’s Tan Sri Dr Gan Thian Leong and Dato’ Sri Johari Jamaluddin, committee members of MTFA, diplomats and friends of Thailand.
